2017 Vicki’s Victory Project – My Livingstone

2017 marks the 105th Anniversary of the Youth Missionary Society.  Our founder Miss Victoria Richardson’s history reveals to us that she had been a librarian and teacher at Livingstone College and composed their alma mater, “My Livingstone”.  In honor of Miss Richardson, and as a tribute to her legacy and love for music, our Youth Missionary’s will make a contribution to the Livingstone College Department of Music and Choir.

High on the wish and needs list of the Music Department are pianos.  Livingstone is aspiring to be an “All Steinway” institution, striving to provide students and faculty with the best equipment possible for the study of music.  Pianos are the basic tool of any music program.  They are needed for teaching, practice, and performance.  Having Steinway inventory will reflect Livingstone’s commitment to excellence with current and prospective music students.  Steinway pianos are costly and we want to help Livingstone acquire a piano.

It’s time for YOUth to make some music!  Every District is asked to contribute no less than $105, and we challenge YOU to do the same!  We want to have a donor recognition wall and add your names as a part of history.  Make your giving a high-note!

There are Five (5) Levels of Giving:
