Ms. Jacqueline L. Anthony
Director of Communications,Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society
Jacqueline L. Anthony is a missionary who is committed and who believes that the Lord prepared her to become the WH&OMS Director of Communications.
A native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Jacqueline is a life-long member of the A.M.E. Zion Church. She is a Morgan State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Ms. Anthony is active in the community where she lives and serves in leadership roles in several organizations. She is employed as an Operations Assistant to the COO with the Charlotte Housing Authority.
In her local church, Sandy Ridge AME Zion Church in Landis, NC, Ms. Anthony serves on the Trustee Board. She is a member of the WHOMS, Life Members Council, Lay Council, Home Missions, and the CED Board of Directors. She also serves as the YAMS Coordinator and in many capacities on the Salisbury District, in her Western NC Conference, in her Episcopal District, and now as a General officer in the WHOMS.
Ms. Anthony the daughter of Mrs. Betty S. Harris, has two children; two sisters with one deceased; three brothers; and a son-in-law.
She is passionate about “sharing the good news and encouraging other missionaries to participate and promote the “World for Christ”.
