Angela Davis-Baxter is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and a lifelong member of the Red Oak A.M.E. Zion Church, located in Edgemoor, South Carolina. Her church involvements include serving as the Preacher’s Steward, the local Secretary of the Youth Missionary Society, District Secretary of Youth and past District Recording Secretary of the Women’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society, Rock Hill District, South Carolina Conference.

She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Winthrop University. From Columbia College she earned a Master of Education in Divergent Learning and from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Education in School Administration.

Angela has a strong passion for education and has served in various capacities in that field. She has been a Counselor, School Health Coordinator, School Social Worker, Assistant Principal, and an Adult Education Teacher in the public school system. She is presently employed as the Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina.

During her leisure time, she enjoys Zumba Fitness, Body Works, Cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
