Mrs. Vicki Lynn (Jett) Breaux was born in Landstul, Germany, but considers herself a native of Amite, Louisiana. January 1, 2014 brought on new beginnings for Vicki as she became the wife of William Breaux, Sr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they currently reside. She is the only daughter of Katherine and the late John A. Jett, Sr. and had one older brother John Jr. who is now deceased. Her father spent twenty years in the armed services which afforded them the opportunity to do a great deal of traveling, state side as well as abroad. Mrs. Breaux spent most of her early childhood in Japan and Okinawa. After her father retired from the armed services in Louisiana, she began her life as an integral part of the A.M.E. Zion Church, serving in various capacities and offices.

Through William she has inherited an even larger family. Now with her five Godchildren, Santa, Wesley, D'Onna, Daniel and Chelsea; her niece Krystal Moore and nephew Andre' Jett, both adults with families of their own, she adds her new Breaux clan Monique, Sade’, Whitney and William, Jr. and two grandchildren Jayla and William, III.; all whom she adores.

Mrs. Breaux at her local church, Faith, currently serves as the Secretary of Youth, the Director of Christian Education and Special Programs Coordinator. On the Roseland District (Louisiana Conference) she is the District Secretary of Youth. She has served the A.M.E. Zion Church in Louisiana, Colorado, Texas, Connecticut and Alabama. Mrs. Breaux was elected the eleventh General Superintendent of the Buds of Promise Juvenile Missionary Society at the twenty-fourth Quadrennial Convention in Dallas, Texas in 1999 and in 2011 was blessed to be re-elected to serve the Society as its twelfth General Secretary of Youth at the twenty-seventh Quadrennial Convention in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Breaux is gifted in youth and children's ministry and strives to make a positive difference in their lives. She loves the Lord and knows "Through God all things are possible!" and through Him her ministry continues to grow.
